Slip-resistant flake & quartz pool decks · Marion County

Pool Deck Resurfacing in Ocala, FL

Resurface a cracked, faded or painted pool deck with an epoxy flake or quartz system that grips when wet, stays cooler than bare concrete and keeps its color under the Florida sun. Lanais, patios and walkways too.

Local know-how

Floors built for Ocala.

Grip where it matters

A flake or quartz broadcast gives the surface real texture, so wet feet have traction around the pool without the roughness of old kool-deck or exposed aggregate.

Made for sun and chlorine

Outdoor systems get a UV-resistant clear topcoat that resists chalking, fading and pool chemicals. Colors stay true season after season.

Lanais, patios and entries

The same system works on screened lanais, covered patios, front walks and steps, so the whole outdoor area matches instead of stopping at the pool edge.

Questions

Straight answers before you book.

Can you coat over an existing painted or textured deck?

In most cases, yes. We remove failing paint and loose material, grind and repair the concrete, then build the new system on a sound surface. We confirm what your deck needs at the on-site consultation.

How long does an epoxy floor take to install?

Most residential garages and lanais are prepped, coated and sealed in one to two days, depending on the condition of the concrete. You can usually walk on the floor within 24 hours and park on it after about three days, once the topcoat has fully cured. We confirm the timeline for your space at the consultation.

Does epoxy hold up to the Florida heat and sun?

Yes, when the right system is used. Outdoor floors such as pool decks, lanais and patios get a UV-resistant clear topcoat so the color stays true, and a textured flake or quartz broadcast for slip resistance around water. Indoors, the same coatings resist tire marks, oil, moisture and everyday wear.

What does the free consultation include?

We come to your home or business, check the concrete for cracks, moisture and old coatings, walk you through flake, metallic and quartz options with real samples, and give you clear pricing before any work is scheduled. There is no pressure and no obligation.

Which materials do you install?

We install Torginol decorative flake and quartz blends over professional-grade epoxy and clear topcoats. You can browse every blend and color on our materials page or order a physical sample kit from Torginol before you decide.
